A Turkish construction company and state venture is close to concluding an LNG floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) at a major South Korean shipyard.
LNG newbuilding sources say Kolin Construction and Kalyon — working in some form of partnership with the Turkish government — have pencilled in an order for one firm FSRU at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) with an option on a second unit.
