New York-listed tanker owner Overseas Shipholding Group has agreed to be bought by family-owned Saltchuk Resources in a transaction worth $950m.
The cash purchase price will be $8.50 per share for the Florida-based owner.
An offer was first made in January by the Seattle group at $6.25
