Pertamina is being linked with the acquisition of three tankers from NYK Line involving a VLCC and two medium-range product carriers.
The Indonesian owner is said to be behind the purchase of the 299,980-dwt crude tanker Toba (built 2004), reports Clarksons.
“We believe that the VLCC had been on subjects for a number of months,” the shipbroker says in its latest weekly report, though it has not put a value on the transaction.
