State-controlled General National Maritime Transport Co (GNMTC) is said to have sold a pair of 18-year-old aframaxes.
US brokers reported that the Libyan tanker owner has disposed of the 112,000-dwt Intisar and Ebn Batuta (both built 2002) for $10.5m each.
The ships have been sold to a Middle East-based buyer, the brokers said.
The company had put the Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries-built duo, plus the sistership El Gurdabia, on the sale and purchase market in December.
