Italian shipowner Augusta Due has acquired its first tanker newbuilding in years.
It has taken delivery of the 18,500-dwt chemical tanker Primo M, built by China’s Fujian Southeast Shipbuilding Co as dual-fuel methanol-ready.
The move marks a fresh start for the Brullo family, who have focused on secondhand newbuildings to date.
