Odfjell is sending one of its elderly chemical tankers to the breakers in India but has remained mum on much of the detail.
The 39,500-dwt Bow Puma (built 1986) has been sold for a price the Norwegian would only describe as “close to the book value”.
TradeWinds will report in Friday's paper edition, however, that the ship has fetched $533 per ldt which equates to $5.1m.
