Estonia has detained a sanctioned aframax tanker over its alleged lack of a flag state.
The Baltic country’s public broadcaster ERR said on Friday that the 115,600-dwt Kiwala (built 2007) had been stopped and the vessel and its documentation are under investigation.
It said there were 24 people on board and the Chinese captain was being cooperative.
