Singapore-based Vasi Shipping has initiated insolvency proceedings after falling victim to plunging container freight rates.
The drastic action is being taken after the company suffered with container freight and charter markets moving in opposite directions.
A creditors’ meeting to appoint a liquidator has been arranged for later this month.
