Adhart Shipping is believed to have turned to the shipbuilding market for the first time to grow its fleet.
The Singapore-incorporated company has been named the buyer of a series of MR tankers at China’s New Dayang Shipbuilding.
Multiple shipbuilding players said Adhart had contracted up to four vessels at the yard last month.
