Delta Logistics of Trinidad has penned a contract for a 2,500-dwt newbuilding for delivery in the third quarter of 2014.
No contract price was disclosed.
The 70 metre vessel is an upgraded version of De Hoop’s KISS design, one of which was recently delivered to Mexico’s Pemex.
Delta Logistics will operate the PSV in the offshore fields near Trinidad and Tobago.
