An aframax managed by Greek shipowner George Economou collided with a UK-sanctioned tanker at the Russian port of Ust-Luga on New Year’s Eve, leading to a dispute that is said to be under settlement.
Details of the incident emerged in documents released on Thursday by the captain of Ust-Luga port, who temporarily detained both vessels after their owners filed damage claims against each other.
