Shipbrokers say Tufton Oceanic and Blackstone have sealed the acquisition of 75% of the shares in shipowning entities tied to seven medium-range (MR) tankers of around 40,000 dwt built between 2004 and 2007 plus two long-range-one (LR1) units of almost 75,000 dwt built in 2006.
