The owner lost contact with the 1,924-dwt Danai 4 (built1986) on Thursday and hasn’t heard from it since, according to ReCaap.
The vessel was located off Tanjung Penawar close to thesouthern tip of the Malay peninsula when it disappeared with 15 crew on board.
Danai 4 departed Singapore on 9 October laden with marinegas oil and was due to anchor off Vietnam for transferring of fuel on 12 Oct13.
