Four tug operators are chasing a heavy lift vessel, alleging a now-bankrupt company owes them $1.1m.
McAllister Towing, Central Boat Rentals, Offshore Towing and Global Towing Service are seeking to arrest the 21,000-dwt Nor Goliath (built 2011) in the southern district of Mississippi federal court after Epic Applied Technologies and Ranger Offshore allegedly failed to pay for tow services.
According to the complaint, McAllister is owed $557,957 after providing Epic towing services in May, Central Boat is owed $490,786 for services rendered in June 2018 and Offshore Towing and Global Towing Services $60,000 for towing the Nor Goliath in August 2018.
