Oslo-listed seismic vessel owner Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS) has revealed a fall in vessel use in the first quarter.
The company said contract utilisation dropped to 53% from 68% in the same period of 2016.
The multi-client figure was down 1% at 21%.
Stacking accounted for 11% of fleet days, compared to zero in 2016.
One ship was warm-stacked throughout the quarter, accounting for most of this figure, which does not even include cold-stacked units.
