Seismic survey ship owner PGS has revealed a busier first quarter for its eight operational vessels.
The Oslo-listed company said that utilisation for contract work was up to 36%, from 23% in the final three months of 2017.
The multi-client figure increased to 31% from 23%.
The number of ships stacked or on standby dipped to 29% from 32%.
It has warm-stacked two vessels in the low winter season.
