Oslo-listed seismic survey vessel owner PGS has been marginally busier in the third quarter.
The company said overall fleet utilisation was 81% to 30 September, up from 78% a year ago.
Multi-client work accounted for 53%, from 45%, but contract jobs dipped from 33% to 28%.
Only 5% of the fleet was in transit, against 10% in 2016, with 2% in yards.
