Germany’s Carsten Rehder Schiffsmakler und Reederei has inked an order with an Indian shipbuilder for up to eight multipurpose vessels.
The 7,500-dwt ships with battery-ready designs will be built at Kolkata-based Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE).
They are similar to three vessels being built by Mazagon Dock of Mumbai with Denmark’s Navi Merchants.
