German trading company Uniper has put a planned $340m floating storage and regasification unit newbuilding in doubt after announcing it is rethinking a proposed terminal in Wilhelmshaven.
The situation affects an FSRU ordered by Mitsui OSK Lines at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.
LNG Terminal Wilhelmshaven (LTeW), which is Uniper’s subsidiary company acting as the developer for the facility, said it is “re-evaluating” its plans for the terminal.
