A floating storage and regasification unit newbuilding under the control of Excelerate Energy has been fixed for a short period charter on its delivery from the yard.
Brokers said the 173,400-cbm Excelerate Sequoia has been fixed by PetroChina for a period of 60 to 90 days.
A rate in the $20,000 per day range was reported for the charter.
