Ostensjo Group’s Edda Wind has signed long-term time charters for two offshore wind vessels under construction in Spain.
MHI Vestas and Ocean Breeze Energy has agreed to take the vessels for a firm period of 15 and 11 years respectively from delivery.
The charter agreement with MHI Vestas will be for a service operation vessel (SOV) and will start in the second quarter of 2022, while Ocean Breeze’s unit will be a commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV) and is scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of 2022.
