Two people have been injured after a fire broke out on a new icebreaker at Admiralty Shipyard in Russia.
Firefighters have now completely extinguished the blaze on the 22,000-gt diesel-electric Viktor Chernomyrdin, the TASS news agency reported on Tuesday.
Flames partially engulfed the vessel’s third and fourth decks, covering 300 square metres.
Electrical wiring, equipment and wall panels were damaged.
