Danish tanker and fuels group Monjasa has stepped up its investment in the next generation of bunker traders.
The company said there are no obvious recruitment channels for the specialised sector, so it trains its own young professionals.
This year’s class of 13 new trainees is the largest number of candidates accepted into the programme since its launch in 2018, and up from 11 last year.
