French pioneer TOWT has waved off its first sailing cargo vessel newbuilding on its maiden laden trans-Atlantic voyage.
The 81-metre-long Anemos — which TOWT describes as the largest sailing cargo ship in the world — loaded in Le Harve in northern France and set sail on 13 August at around 8pm local time, stopping in Concarneau for some “fine-tuning”.
