The identity of the final ship sold as part of Russian state shipowner Sovcomflot (SCF Group)’s sanctions-related fleet disposal has been revealed.
Brokers report the 46,700-dwt MR2 product tanker Elbrus (built 2004) was offloaded to an unnamed buyer in the Middle East.
The Hyundai Mipo-built veteran has fetched $7m, according to VesselsValue, which assesses it as worth about $10m.
