Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has exercised an option for a dual-fuel pure car/truck carrier (PCTC) newbuilding at Jinling Shipyard in China.
The deal means the Singapore shipowner now has five PCTC newbuildings on order at the state-owned shipyard.
Shipbuilding sources said that Idan Ofer-controlled EPS held the option at the yard as part of an order for four ships placed at Jinling in June.
