At least three more LNG carriers are being prepared for scrap sale in what is shaping up to be a record year for demolition in this shipping sector.
Scrap brokers said Sinokor Merchant Marine is limbering up to market another two of its laid-up LNG carriers for demolition sale.
Market talk indicates the vessels could be the 125,556-cbm North Energy (ex-Wilenergy, built 1983) and the 126,530-cbm South Energy (ex-LNG Edo, built 1980).
