Evangelos Marinakis says he would keep the Chinese-built ships in his 140-ship fleet away from US trading for the duration of any White House-imposed port fees on vessels built in China.
Appearing as keynote speaker at Capital Link’s 19th annual International Shipping Forum in New York, the Greek shipping magnate spoke off the cuff on a variety of current geopolitical issues, including what he considers the likelihood of a European recession.
