Wealthy Greek shipowners are on the radar as financier RBS unveils a new shipping wealth management operation.
The banking stalwart will also be looking to rope in other wealthy shipping names from across the globe through the new venture with wholly-owned bank for the super rich, Coutts.
Elena Mavrogonatou, previously head of Greek and Cypriot markets at Barclays Wealth, has been brought in to spearhead the project which will be run from Coutts’ headquarters in London.
