The newly appointed chief executive of the Norwegian Hull Club, Faz Peermohamed, has resigned just four months after taking the helm.

Peermohamed has decided that he needs to return to the UK for family reasons so can no longer continue as head of the Bergen-based mutual.

Hans Christian Seim, currently chief operating officer, will take over as acting chief executive from the start of May, while the shipowner directors of the club led by lawyer and shipowner Hans Olav Lindal decide on a long term succession strategy.
