Damen has started to build two crane barge vessels on a speculative basis, looking to attract potential buyers through short delivery times.
The shipbuilder said it will place the vessels in stock, in anticipation of continuous market demand.
These 63-metre ships will be suited for shifting coal, iron and agribulk materials.
