Costa Cruises has promoted chief commercial officer Mario Zanetti to become its new president.
The Italian arm of Carnival Corp said that the move was made to prepare for the resumption of its cruises and its long-term growth.
Zanetti takes over from Michael Thamm, group chief executive of Costa Group and Carnival Asia, who held the Costa Cruises presidential position on a temporary basis.
