New Dayang Shipbuilding has struck a deal with Taiwanese leasing company Chailease Holding for two ultramax newbuildings at $35m apiece.
The 64,000-dwt bulk carriers are believed to be the first newbuildings contracted by Chailease.
A New Dayang official confirmed the deal to TradeWinds, saying his company will deliver the pair in 2028.
