Samsung Heavy Industries said it has delivered the “world’s largest” containership three weeks ahead of schedule.
The Korean yard delivered the 23,756-teu MSC Gulsun (built 20019) to Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) on Saturday.
The vessel, which sailed from Samsung’s Geoje shipyard, is the first of six sister ships being built for the Swiss-based shipowner.
