Greek owner Goldenport Holdings is hungry for more boxship tonnage as it spots “reason for optimism” in liner markets this year.
The London-quoted company also reckons the outlook for dry-bulk markets “may not be so gloomy” as strong steel demand in Asia could tie up a glut of tonnage set to hit the water.
Paris Dragnis-led Goldenport has just unveiled a small loss for the year as cost-cutting and a positive reversal in disposal gains counterbalanced reduced revenues.
