Japanese classification society ClassNK has a new chief executive.
Senior vice president Hayato Suga has been appointed president and CEO effective from 21 March.
Predecessor Hiroaki Sakashita, who had been in the role for five years, was made chairman.
Following his appointment, Suga said: “The business environment is changing rapidly, with boundaries between industries becoming increasingly blurred due to environmental challenges and digital transformation.
