Volumes of Venezuelan oil loaded onto tankers have fallen this week as US measures begin to take effect.
On Monday, Washington imposed 25% tariffs on any country buying Venezuelan crude.
And US oil major Chevron’s licence to export oil from Venezuela has been withdrawn, although the Trump administration extended the deadline to 27 May.
