Market sources say the company, which was reported to have flipped a capesize bulker newbuilding into a 320,000-dwt VLCC tanker two years ago, has now switched the order back into a 180,000-dwt bulker newbuilding for delivery in 2014.

At the same time, Thenamaris is said to have added one more capesize newbuilding, plus two options at the Chinese yard.

Sources say Thenamaris finalised the newbuilding deal with SWS before Christmas.

It
