Market sources have identified the Athens-based company as the buyer of a fleet of six modern, German-controlled ships that went to an unidentified Greek owner last month. Technomar managers decline to comment.
As TradeWinds reported in April, the six bulkers changed hands for just above $30m in total. That is about the price their previous KG (limited partnership) owners spent on each of the vessels when they were ordered at Zhejiang Shipbuilding Co 10 years ago.
