“Make a splash for OSCAR” is the call from Spinnaker’s Phil Parry to raise funds for the world-leading Great Ormond St Hospital for Children in London.
The shipping industry-backed OSCAR campaign — named after Parry’s son, Oscar, who received life-saving treatment at the institution — is to hold a sponsored dragon boat race at the Docklands Water Sports Centre in East London on 16 September.
