*** Brokers say Nasdaq-listed Hellenic Carriers has sold the Jiangnan-built, 65,400-dwt Hellenic Sea (built 1991) for $4.87m to undisclosed buyers.
There have been no comparable sales for close to two years.
The ship is the oldest in Hellenic’s fleet, which currently comprises four vessels in the water. It also has two kamsarmax bulkers on order for delivery in January and March 2013.
