Premicon, the German shipping-finance and tourism group, is bundling together newly formed tour operator Transocean Kreuzfahrten GmbH & Co KG with river cruiseships in a fund for investors.
The company is already behind a KG (limited partnership) fund to refinance its 650-passenger deepsea cruiseship Astor (built 1987).
Premicon says it formed Transocean Kreuzfahrten following the insolvency of Transocean Tours, whose bareboat charter of the Astor was cancelled by Premicon after it ran into trouble.
