Oman Shipping, headquartered in Muscat — the capital of the Sultanate of Oman — has taken a different development path to its state-owned regional competitors in that it has never been an industrial carrier for one oil major client.
It accumulated its large, mixed fleet of gas carriers, tankers, and bulkers on the back of long-term charters to Omani Shipping Co and international operators.
