Turkey’s Ditas Maritime Management & Tankers is increasing its tonnage with the construction of chemical tanker newbuildings and possibly also with the reported acquisition of a modern tanker from Union Maritime.
The Istanbul-based company announced on its website earlier this month that steel cutting has finished for a pair of chemical tankers at RMK Marine — a yard belonging to the Koc conglomerate, which owns Ditas.
