Japan’s massive marine presence in London is under review but few expect companies to quit the capital once the UK leaves the European Union (EU).
Japan’s five main trading houses, Mitsubishi, Itochu, Marubeni, Sumitomo and Mitsui, all have established commercial bases in the UK capital with strong marine divisions. All have stepped up ongoing reviews of the city as a centre of their European business.
