Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) and the Tsakos group are further cementing their ties, with the Korean owner chartering two newbuildings from the Greek operator.
A source close to the deal says HMM has fixed two medium-range (MR) products tankers from Tsakos for three years at a floating rate with a profit-sharing scheme.
The 37,000-dwt tanker newbuildings are set for handover by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in the third and fourth quarter of 2006.
