GDF Suez has snatched a long fought after job to build a floating LNG import terminal for Uruguay.
Industry sources following Gas Sayago’s GNL del Plata project suggest the French energy company has won the work on the basis of using its long term chartered, 145,130-cbm regasification vessel GDF Suez Neptune (built 2009) in combination with the use of an existing first generation storage unit.
