Brazilian charter “blocking” has caused a stir this week, after the early termination of contracts for six international platform supply vessels (PSVs) with Petrobras, but many more contracts may be shredded soon.
TradeWinds understands that the Brazilian “blocking” process means domestic shipowners are likely to snatch away another 20 to 25 Petrobras contracts from foreign ships by the end of 2015.
