Turkey’s YMN Tanker Marine Management is upping its bet in the small chemical tanker market, preparing an order for up to six newbuildings.
It will probably order the vessels at its Eregli Shipyard — a shipbuilder on the Black Sea coast that is a sister company in the Med Marine Group.
The order will boost YMN’s fleet to nearly 20 tankers, bolstering its position as one of the world’s biggest owners in that particular ship class.
