A US fighter has shot down a suspected Houthi missile fired towards a warship in the southern Red Sea.
The attack was one of the first by the Iran-backed rebel group since the US-led military strikes on Houthi infrastructure on Friday.
The US said the anti-ship cruise missile was launched at 4:45 pm on Sunday from a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen towards the destroyer USS Laboon.
